DIGITISE
Once your hand crafted design is ported and flowed to perfection, Centroid cylinder head porting system will automatically digitise the port in 5 axis on the machine. No additional equipment is needed.
CREATE
The data from the digitising process is exported to Mastercam where it is converted into a surface. The system then calculates the 5 axis tool paths and CNC files.
CNC PORT
The resulting CNC programmes are imported into the Centroid control via the Ethernet or USB. A casting is loaded onto the machine and the porting process begins. Exact copies of the digitised original are machined every time.

With the ability to copy, view and modify exhaust and intake ports as well as combustion chambers. In addition to porting, it is simple to programme additional cylinders head machining operations such as valve spring seats or engraving with this powerful CAD/CAM package.
Centroid's technicians will show you how to repoduce your winning designs with ease. The course is tailored to your specific application and comprises 5 days training at Centroid's facilities and 5 days at your premises.
Centroid offers the most complete turn key CNC porting system available. This comprehensive package includes everything you need to go straight into production. This includes a digitising probe, custom cylinder head fixture plate as well as a carbide lollipop cutter custom designed by Centroid to provide optimal chip removal and surface finish.
Centroid CNC control is easy to operate and has been designed with the operator in mind. Graphically assisted part and tool setups with straight forward menus assist the operator in producing quality machined cylinder heads.
